Mechatronic Drive Systems

At DNH we can supply customized mechatronic units based on customer need through combining drive components from DC and BLDC motors, gearheads, sensors, and controllers.

The benefits are compact design, components configured specifically for the customer, and the guarantee of obtaining maximum performance from the drive system.

Compact Electric Drives

We supply very compact drive units with a large functional scope for systems with an operating voltage from 12 to 48 VDC.

The Maxon compact brushless IDX drives delivers a highly dynamic, powerful drive package with field-oriented control (FOC), high efficiency, and maintenance-free components in a high-quality industrial housing. Combined with a positioning controller, this enables absolute positioning and speed control over and entire range (from standstill to maximum speed).

Applications: Robotics, automation, autonomous transport systems, AGVs, cobots, packing industry.

Brushed DC Motors (PMDC)

The high-quality Maxon and Parvalux DC motors are equipped with powerful permanent magnets. The centerpiece of the Maxon motor is the worldwide patented ironless rotor. This offers cutting-edge technology for compact, powerful drives with low inertia. As a result of their low mass moment of inertia, the DC motors feature very high acceleration. The modular and configurable Maxon DCX and DC-max programs can be adapted to the needs of our customer.

Brushless DC Motors (BLDC)

Maxon electronically commutated EC motors unrivalled key features include: excellent torque characteristics, high power, extremely wide speed range, and outstanding long life span. Parvalux BLDC motors require no maintenance, which makes them ideal for use in 'fit and forget' applications while offering high starting torque, excellent power density and quiet operation.The Maxon EC frameless flat offers high torque density and space-saving integration. It consists of only a rotor and stator – with no bearings or motorshaft.

AC Motors

We supply standalone Parvalux AC motors that combine with excellent right-angle and inline gearboxes. Parvalux AC motors are available as either single or three phase units, with robust and durable aluminium housings.
